I've become interested in either building or buying an inexpensive 3d printer.

Would the Cbeam machine be a good start to building one?

For an inexpensive machine capable of making parts to build a machine what would you folks recommend?

    Thanks,

    Lee

    Hi Lee -

I've been researching 3D Printers, delta style, for a week or so now. The Tevo Little Monster machine uses the C-Beam. It looks like there are a couple builds in the "Builds" section as well that use the C-Beam. Others use the V-slot 20x60 rail. The C-Beam may add rigidity to a design, I like the idea, it also adds cost and weight. Personally, I've not decided on which rail I'll use yet.
