I'm selling off my 2 watt laser diode / driver combo. You get everything you see in the photo and a couple extras. I'm also including a G2 glass lens and the fan kit from JTechPhotonics for this laser. Everything is in perfect working order. I have the driver throttled down to 1.5 watts just to test the laser and not to put any real strain on it, I probably put less then 8 hours on this setup. I'm moving to a different laser so this one is no longer needed. The mount for the fan add-on will need to be reprinted on a 3D printer (original broke while trying to install) will include link to the stl and I had to cut the wire on the laser to lengthen it, i'll re-solder and heatshrink before sending.. Here is a video of the laser in operation: $275.00 value, yours for only $175.00 + Shipping
Hey Gerald, a couple of questions. I plan to add a laser to my current CNC. Is this a blue laser? Is it focusable? Did you do any 3d etching with it" Why are you going to 6W? By the way, since adding the steal rails to my F-117, its been holding up well. George M
Yes it's a 445nm blue laser, it is focusable and comes with a 3 element lens. Nothing 3D...yet.. With a 6 watt I can just about triple the speeds I do the engravings at... Here's a link to the laser: http://jtechphotonics.com/?product=1-7w-445nm-laser-diode-and-2-0-amp-adjustable-driver-kit I'm glad to hear it about the rails, if I run into problems with the delrin wheels i'll probably go that direction as well...
Laser is not for sale any longer, I've decided to keep it for the time being to test with. Thanks !! Gerald
