V-Slot connector 2014-02-21

Printed part for connecting or bonding two lengths of V-Slot aluminum extrusion

  1. Sage
Printed part for connecting or bonding two lengths of V-Slot aluminum extrusion. I used 8 of these to bond 3 20x60 beams into 1 60x60 beam for my CNC machine. Thought others might find them useful.

Finally got a 3D printer. Your connectors are ... growing up just now! My Ox's gantry slots are going to stop waiting for them. Excellent work.

Excellent! I've been wishing for something like this for my modified OX build (in the planning stage in sketchup). Thanks for sharing!

This will work exactly as required. One caution - DO NOT expect to take them apart easily. I suggest using a hammer banging on one of the extrusions ends and try to drive it off the connectors. Sort of a forced slide if you will. But then again this is what I want them for. Not to fall apart by gravity force (it's the law you know).
