I have a two part question using Ugs 0.9 Is it common for endstops to stop any following actions/movements? If I'm jogging my gantry and test and endstops I have to close session and reopen to move again. Second part is there a command/setting to move in any directions freely (in programming I invision i++ type setting). I have a game controller and it moves in increments base on predefined settings the next movement has to wait for the previous command to finish. Thanks in advance.
I havent used Ugs, but found this via a quick google: Platform alarm reset? How to do it. · Issue #601 · winder/Universal-G-Code-Sender So it looks like this was solved in a later version of Ugs. Side note: Every other ui I've used has a clear alarm button. I dont think I fully understand your second question. Are you asking about a command for continuous jogging or perhaps moving in x an y at the same time? If so, both of those are handled by the device you are using (pendant for example).
Alarm reset perfect thank you. With the second question not necessarily x & Y at the same time, that would be nice, but more continuous movement yes. Thank you for the info.
As far as I know, I'm correct in that whatever pendant you are using needs to handle figuring out that you want continuous movement. Like if you hold a button down, use an MPG wheel or a joystick.
