Safe to use NEMA 23 stepper motors with CNC xPro board?

    The motors draw 2.8A/phase.
    The board can handle 2.5A/phase
    You can buy machine bundles with these parts on the Part Store website.
    My electronics enclosure has a fan blowing on the board.
    I built my own CNC router using parts from the Part Store website and from a broken 3D printer.

    Jeff, Yes safe.. the driver will limit the current to whatever you set it too, with the adjustment pots.
    Typically you would run the motor with as much current as you can without excessive heat.
    Fan will help the board. The xPro is an easy setup option for many people but it's power can be a limiter for some systems.
    With those motors you should be good with the board cooled and adjusted accordingly.
    If the xPro cuts out after some time (it will thermal protect itself without permanent damage) then back off the current some more and try again.
    You will be running close to the max setting on the xPro.
