I have pulled off the X Carves Spindle mount gantry plate and want to replace it with a universal plate that I may then permanently mount a JTech 7 Watt laser. Will one of these work: OpenRail Gantry Plate and if so, which one?
    Here’s some pics:
It looks like 20mm spacing on the screw holes for mounting the plate to the backlash block on the ACME screw and 80mm between V- Wheels vertically and 65mm side to side (center of wheel holes).

Thanks in advance for any info or recommendations on the correct plate.

Makerslide, Openrail and V-Slot are all seperate systems and not interchangeable

Why not just drill new mounting holes in your existing plate?

Because the Spindle mount is part of the Gantry plate - they're one in the same. I have to add a new plate to permanently mount my Jtech laser on. Inventables sells the correct plate for $8.33. But, the shipping is $20.35!!! That's insane for an $8.33 aluminum plate lol.
Oh well, I'll just have to bite the bullet or make what I need.
