I got sucked in by the big sale and picked up the RoutER11 and some other stuff yesterday and it is already being shipped. Wow! That was quick! After waiting a long time due to limited to no stock I finally was able to get one. I was also able to find an 8mm ER11 collet so that makes me super happy. I like my 8mm ball nose for roughing large 3D projects.

I also bought two spindle mounts for the RouterER11 for my new Z axis I am building. The hole alignment will make it so much easier then using my old Chinese 65mm cast mount where I manually drilled the mounting holes. The question I have is what is included in the Router/spindle mount kit? I could not find any listing. I assumed it was 4 black angle blocks and the 10mm and 8mm mounting screws so I added it anyways. I like surprises so I am sure I will be happy, but a list would be good for others to see on the Router / Spindle Mount plate product page.

Cant answer the question about the blocks. But the router11 is a 65mm body. The mounts are 71mm. The router11 comes with a reducing sleeve, but you'll need another one for the other mount. I asked them to offer them separately, but havent seen them in the store. Might have to 3d print one.

Also, check my resources. The fan on that sucker blows chips across the room. I have an air diverter that blows it towards my vac hose.

Thanks. I was looking at those resources earlier. Will the non-air diverter function as a shim? I was hoping the aluminum shim would be listed as well for separate purchase, but I saw it wasn't...which led me to your 3d printed resources.

It should. I just dont know how accurate it would be. Maybe tighten and adjust the mount with the metal sleeve first.

Edit. Actually, I'll have to look at the fusion file to get the size. It was made for the dust shoe. Again it should work, but I'll double check and get back to you on that.

Thanks. I can modify it as well. I plan to do as you said and mount and tighten the aluminum one first. Then I will shim the upper one with either your design if it will work, or make my own. I guess I could machine one since I have a CNC router. :)
