it was disabled, so after enabling it started to work. Only problem now is when I try the home all, the Z goes up and stops at my upper travel microswitch and goes into alarms. I recently upgraded the software and wonder if it threw off my settings. I will have to read up on my settings and how to check them Thanks Tom
Screenshot / write down the alarm code and message, there are various different ones, the exact wording will be a good clue about what's wrong
Got it working fine now. basically the problem was my fault where I neglected to set up my machine properly after I had a replacement blackbox , had to also relocate my Z microswitch as well. This CNC stuff is my new hobby but had to basically had to wait until I fully retired end of last December. Now I have the time to read the documentations and learn about G code along with reading the forum. Thanks to all that helped. Tom
