OpenBuilds XY Table Build
Here we show how to use two OpenRail linear actuators to create and X/Y axis table suitable for light duty milling or 3D print applications.
We wanted to show just how quick and easy it is to build an X
and Y axis table using OpenRail in this short video.
TIP: The Parts list below uses 'post mount' belt clamp style as shown in this picture.
The Belt simply wraps around the 1/4" aluminum spacer and is clamped or cable tied back onto itself for a simple belt clamp solution, where no other special belt clamps are needed.
Be sure to download the SketchUp model for the best view of different example setups for this X/Y system.

X Y Table OpenRail / V-Slot Build Examples
Build in 'Everything Else' published by Mark Carew, Sep 28, 2015.
The X/Y table system is a great starting point for many CNC projects giving you the ability to move an object on the X and Y axis in a simple compact style.

Reason for this Build
As an example for an XY stage using OpenRail to help other get a good idea of how the OpenRail system works. This is a foundation build that will hopefully lead to many future builds. -
