This machine was built with the X and Y axis being lead screw driven and housed in the 1000 mm C-beam. The Y axis also is lead screw driven within a 250 mm C-beam. I also wanted to use a simple gantry system without having to create new plates. I went with the v- slot gantry plates which are very easy and flexible to work with. The strength of this build so far has surpassed my expectations. I will add more details as I go and include some better pics...
Build in 'CNC ROUTER BUILDS' published by jkenn13, Apr 9, 2015.
The purpose of this build is to create a simple, strong modular build that is rugged enough to cut out some of the softer metals along with wood and plastics. Using basic parts like the universal plates, t-nuts and v- wheels coupled with the strength of C-Beam I am sure this will deliever the desired results!!

Reason for this BuildMy previous build was an Ox and I wanted something a little bigger and stronger to start a little side business with.
