      As I kept running into the Z end switches, I decided to redesign the standard gantry plates to get me 2" extra space

      For (much) better clamping possibilities, I upgraded to a full metal bed

      I upgraded to lead screws
      I replaced the end mounts, but made an addition to the top mount
      Now I can (slowly) mill aluminum and other soft metals.
