Stinger displays images in the air by using a single column of LEDs. The LEDS run from side to side to side over a rail system at high speed. At least three controllers were used for this system. One of them controls the LEDs. Another one runs the motor at high speed over an axis. Finally, another controller "drives" the motor.

Stinger displays images in the air by using a single column of LEDs. Special computer code converts graphics to pixels; then, the pixels are send to the strings of LEDs, which with the help of of the motor's fast movement the most colorful are displayed on thin air.
