It is a Core XY Laser Cutter/Etcher. Powered by a 3.5 watt blue laser.
My build is a Core XY system with a Z axis.
The laser module I am using has full power to the laser when the controller is not powered and the air pump is very noisy so I added a relay to turn the power supply on using the cooling enabled pin on the CNC Shield so M8 will enable and M9 will disable power to the motors, air pump, and laser.

- Cut 2 750mm length sections from one of the V-Slot® 20x40 Linear Rail 1500mm.
- Cut 1 714mm length section from the other V-Slot® 20x40 Linear Rail 1500mm.

Reason for this BuildHave been wanting one for a while and my son asked if we could build it for his engineering fair at school.
