The paintbot is pretty much a generic CNC build which is using a paintbrush instead of a milling head or a laser. I wanted to be as versatile as possible in case I use it later for something different then painting.

You can use pretty much every openbuilds machine to make a painting since the software I wrote for this is available on thingiverse: paintCam - paint with your printer by alex7786
