This uses an OpenBuilds C-beam and can be used both motorized or not. The design is such that the effective length of the slider is slightly less then twice the length of the C-Beam. I used a 500mm long one but others may be able to be used. As the length increases the stresses on the parts will increase.

For motorized use I used a Nema17 motor with a printed gearbox available on Thingiverse :
miniEngine | An open-source, Arduino based intervalometer and multi-axis motion-control system for time-lapse and video photography.) to control the system but any controller that will work the Stepper motors will work. I am swapping the motor and gearbox out with a 27:1 model as I can only get inclined use with the current setup and I'm looking for full vertical shots.

I'm marking this as build complete as the main system works well... I have two additional parts to design for the system but it works without them.
The two additional systems are a set of feet to use the slider like a standard mini-slider and additional system that will allow limited pan & tilt operation without an additional motorized pan & tilt head.
