I want to give a big shout out to Dollarz81 who inspired this build.
Started ordering the parts for this build around January 16th, 2017. Was looking to build a large enough machine to cut up to 1/8 aircraft ply for giant scale RC models. I was very happy to locate a couple distributors of the openbuild components in Canada. On that note, and not to take anything away from Makerparts.ca who helped me with what they had on hand very quickly and the OpenBuilds partstore, Dany over at Fuzztech.ca went the extra mile throwing together a large order and getting it off to me at what I consider, especially knowing how our good old Canada Post is, at record speed. Hat off to you Dany .
Though most of my electronic are still in mail system limbo, I do have the parts I need to complete the frame and make any changes I see necessary. Got the frame and steppers all installed, Now the long wait for the rest of the electrical components :-(
Ok, Still waiting for my electrical components to show up, gives me lots of time to tinker
Decided that this unit takes up way to much space in my roughly 8 by 16 room so ..... unused floor space, the wall
