Hi all, this is my 1st time posting here on openbuilds but i have been planning this build for roughly 6months. Also would like the thank everyone for the ideas i might of gathered from your builds and i hope i can return it with my own design. I went through many changes and alterations with my design but have now collected all the parts and have started the build.
The build:
1. hiwin rails on both x y axis.
2. Intergrated closed loop servos
3. All profiles have been filled with 12mm reo bar, epoxy and grout. the machine will weigh around 150 to 200kgs.
4.1.5kw air powered spindle
5. all in one cnc controller

Reason for this Build
Im building a large 4axis vertical mill but because i want to learn more about driving a cnc i decieded to build this smaller router to learn on and it will be used for my smaller jobs in the future.Inspired by
Mark Carew c-beam and kyo sphinx build. Thanks guys -
