This is huuuuge. Hope you have room for it! Sounds like a fun project. Have you gotten a parts list together for it?

The room for printer is not the problem ;) It's fun but hard project. In this week end I'll try to share a not complete parts list. I have to define a lot of things, to have an hot chamber and efficient heating

    Hey Francesco,
Your project is really huuuge man - respect - really great! Did You continue the 2x2x2m Project?

    I have to build a 1,5x1,5x1,5m Printer - but I need help!!!

2 years ago I started with a K8200 to enter into the world of 3D printing.
Meanwhile, I'm fighting since a year with a Chinese T-Rex from Formbot. An extremely bad printer. I have modified and repaired almost everything. But now it is time for a real quantum leap. I now need a monster printer.
I earn my daily bread as an airbrush artist (aircraftstyle.com) and I'm constructing between my paint-jobs an ultralight aircraft. The model building will completed 4 weeks and then I would like to print the first 1: 1 prototype. This model will only serve as a basic form for the negative imprint and should not rise into the air :)-)
Is it possible to reduce your design principle to create objects in PLA in max. 1400mm x 1400mm x 1400mm Size without heating bed with a 1mm upto 1,2mm nozzle to print?
I do not have a 100% plan. I would like to order the components at OpenBuild, but I do not really know what is the best solution and what exactly I have to order.
I can paint better - as to construct a 3D printer.

Have fun with your project and have a nice day.

    Cheers André

    Hi Andrè.
I confirm that the project is a work in progress and it doesn't stop. In this weeks I'm making a 3D printer 500x500x500mm to print parts for the big one and to try some solutions to re-engineer in this big release.
I see your works on the site and they are amazing!!
about my project I confirm you that is possible customize the size of printer, with more or less features and millimeters in dimensions. I want to realize a first prototype to reduce bugs from the CAD model to the reality.
What I can say you is to have a 90% plan before order pieces beacause it's hard realize a printer without the right knowledge. If you want to talk about your project better you can contact me to talk about it :)

    Regards, Francesco

    Hey Francesco,
Thanx 4 replay and the complement :)-))
Well I need a quick solution.
Please check this parts list fron this printer:
    CoreXY Cube
This is exactly how the printer should work - just bigger.
Can You please make a correction in this list, so that I can order all parts.

    Mille grazie amico mio :)-)))

I don't stop the project. It's just slow because is too long and complex make a 3D printer of dimensions. Now I'm going to study some solutions for electronic parts in a new "small" 450x450x700mm 3D printer. I hope to have new update sooner :)

    Hi Andre,

If time is of essence, I might be able to help you with 3d printed parts for your aircraft, up to approx. 1.3 x 1.2 x 1.2 meters in volume, until you finish building your machine.
Will let you know in a couple of weeks.
    Best regards,

    Val
