V-SLOT Aluminium Profile BOX and OpenBuilds Accessories: A Unique Frame for Your LEGO Projects

At our company, we frequently build various projects, ranging from simple to complex, using OpenBuilds V-Slot profiles and V-SLOT accessories. At V-SLOT Poland often have a surplus of aluminium profile offcuts and waste after completing diverse projects. Therefore, we decided to utilize these elements to create something both simple and useful, demonstrating that these materials can be repurposed in an eco-friendly manner. The result? A truly cool-looking piece.



Many of you might be LEGO enthusiasts, or, like me, you may have little ones at home who are fans of both LEGO and motor vehicles. This box was conceived with my sons in mind, who have numerous unique LEGO models in their rooms that deserve to be displayed. Hence, we came up with the first design of the BOX, which could serve as a neat shelf for LEGO models.

FUSION 360 MODEL: Fusion

As you know, there are countless possibilities for expansion, so you can replace the elements that I used. You could design a box with tilt doors or plexiglass mounted on magnets. Using standard OpenBuilds components, the box can be connected with another to create a whole shelf. By employing corner elements and installing them either inside or outside, the entire box can be mounted on the wall. The possibilities are endless, so I'll leave you with this simple project and photos as a source of inspiration.
