Will be adding more info as time goes. currently I am collecting the majority of my purchase parts and when this write up is complete, I will post all the details with a complete parts list, .stl files, and detail drawings where applicable.
Some teaser pics before i come back and do this write up properly..
Eventually I will add some detail in here and re-organize the pictures. not too much to see as I am waiting for the ball screws to be done at the machine shop.
In the meantime I designed a removeable stand for it as well as a mount for the extruder and a box for the main controller.
Well I decided to go a different direction. The screws came in bowed. The steppers and drivers aren't working well together. drivers cant hndle the amps needed for the nema 23's.... so im keeping the idea of a delta but just making a bigger version of a kossel with belts and makerslide columns.
Delta 3d Printer
Build in 'Delta Bots' published by Jason Moyer, May 27, 2015.
I am going to use this as a build log for my delta 3d printer build. I have access to a MakerBOT to print some of the parts. I am still finishing up a few of the design elements but the idea is to have a rigid unit to eliminate deflection in components and maintain accuracy.

Reason for this Build
Because I became frustrated with the Makerbot i have had access to. For a machine doing precise work it is not very rigid and the flex in the machine makes it difficult to keep in adjustment and printing with both heads is more of a pain them what its worth.
