I have the lead 1010 and have been using Easel for post processing with fusion 360. I am wanting to learn more on openbuilds processor and I have some questions around zeroing the zaxis. In Easel you zero the z on the material and then it automatically raises the z back up before the job runs. What is the best method for openbuilds? I see there is a zero xyz should I used that or place bit on the material zero z and raise bit slightly then start job? I hope this makes sense.

    Thanks

    Eric

You can raise it manually if you wish, we do not automatically raise it because it depends on your intention going forward, perhaps you want to stay at Z0, because the GCODE has a Z-move-to-safe-height or even z-move-to-G53-Z0 move in it already
