    Hey folks.

I just recently had my RoutER11 replaced by Support with a DeWalt 611. I was able to get 5ish hours under my belt with it and now the Z Axis is slipping. I thought maybe the DeWalt was just too heavy but it does it with the router removed. I've attached a video file so you can see the Z sliding as soon as a power on the router. Also slides if I put the slightest pressure on the top or attach my dust shoe. Just slides all the way to the bottom.

I've tightened everything up but it doesn't seem to have helped.

    Any thoughts?

Thanks Peter. That was totally it. Total newb mistake. I moved over to a dedicated shop computer and I forgot to load the profile in Openbuilds Control and save it to the machine. Your response triggered that .. "oh I know what I forgot!!"

    Thanks all.

Now I'm having a new problem. My x axis is becoming unresponsive. It's fine to probe my home position. Then it starts a cut then stops moving on X. Which results in my circles just being cut as a straight like. Then X doesn't work at all with the Software or the Interface. If I reboot it all it's momentarily better but does the same thing again.

You can see in this picture it pocketed the 2 hearts. Moved on to start a circle pocket and X stopped responding.

I should note that in the software and code it shows X working properly it just stops responding at the machine level. I checked my connections at both ends of the cable as well.

Okay thanks. I never actually touched any of that setup. Opened the box installed and started working :)

If its at the factory default position, check that the fan is working (always on) and heatsinks not too dusty - it shouldn't overheat on the factory default current setting, so maybe a dead fan

Nice and clean in there. I blow it out regularly. Well as regular as possible given the limited amount I've actually used this thing.

Good check, do adjust that axis down a little then. Note the other possible reasons on the Docs page too, shorts, overcurrent and (unlikely to only affect one driver) undervoltage. Check motor wiring for shorts.
