I’m currently running a 1.5kw spindle motor with the yl620-a vfd and would like to upgrade to a 2.2kw spindle. Can my current yl620-a power the 2.2kw with some parameter changes, or will I have to buy a new vfd along with the 2.2kw spindle.

it would be nice if I could use my current vfd since my settings and wiring are already dialed in and just make the setting changes needed to power the 2.2kw spindle.

    thanks in advance

I have the 2.2 kw spindle and this is the vfd they sent with mine. I assume it should be fine you might only have to make some changes in the vfd. I have this vfd. I’m trying to set this up at the moment. If you can send me anything that might be helpful that would be greatly appreciated. Do you have a black box? What wires did you send the 0-10v to the vfd?

Checkout (you don't need a PWM to 0-10v converter, BlackBox already has 0-10v output built in)

    (0-10v to VI1)
