    DIY CNC System components

    Rattmotor 1.5 KW VFD 110v

    110v 1.5KW water cooled spindle

    OpenBuilds CNC Electronics Bundle

    X32 Blackbox

System has been working well for 3 months with a few minor startup issues.

Last week, after completion of job, system was shut down.

Next day, spindle would not start.

    Voltage checks as follows:

    -supply 120v

    -PSU 24v

-M3 command sends 3.2v to VFD X1 and tool-on light illuminates

    -fan is running on X32

    -XYZ steppers all working normally

-0 to 10v signal on A11 is variable at a few mV. Spindle does not run.

-every screw on every connection has been checked and tightened

-Spindle can be operated normally when control is switched to VFD

Nothing was changed, added or subtracted during the night. The shop is air conditioned.

It seems to me that I may have a malfunctioning X32 or I am missing something.

The X32 was received in April 2024 and installed in May.

Any ideas on how to solve?

Grbl file attached. No changes have been made to this for several weeks. As noted earlier, something changed overnight with the machine turned off.
