It is advisable to ever use more than 2 linear rails for an axis? In my case, the axis is spanning a gap ~2m long. I'm concerned that extrusion (even a thick variant) spanning that gap will lead to sagging and cause problems for the perpendicular axis, given that that axis will have to support 50kg along with dynamic forces from the motors. The idea I'm kicking around is to add a couple extra linear guides at 66cm and 133cm and connect the extrusion of the perpendicular axis to the bearing blocks on all 4 linear rails. This will add a small amount of friction, but the actuators should be able to handle it. Would a plan like this run into alignment issues?
