Trying to connect to Blackbox x32 with Macbook issues

I tried getting the BlackBox connected via a different Mac I have. It is a Mac Mini running Ventura (13.0). I installed the SiLab USB driver and was able to connect up to the BlackBox ONCE. I disconnected and tried reconnecting and was unable to again - got the same response as before. I suspect that the driver is installed correctly but the CONTROL software is having handshake issues with the USB port.

 

I finally got the wifi interface configured and now can connect to the black box from my Mac. Onto the next problem
