    Hey,

I’d like to build my own 3d printer and Im almost done with the part picking process, I want to have double z-axis controlled 3d printer with filament run out detector and auto resume. I also have not fully decided about the print volume, z-axis allows for a quite a tall printer but X and Y are yet to be determined by the heated bed size. I though about using cr10s motherboard since my vision of the printer is quite similar to it. But it seems a bit pricy given how basic of a functionality I require (atleast in my opinion). Also, would it be possible to control more heated beds with somewhat cheap motherboard (and SSRs, obviously)? I’ve seen something in here about using more heated beds (it’s cheaper to buy more smaller heated beds than one big one for some reason - shipping mostly) but I’m really sure whether is worth it.

    Thanks guys !
