    Hey All,
TIA for any advice. Long story short I just upgraded to a bigger location and want to stream g-code from my home based desktop to my workbee.

Heres the setup I was thinking....
    Home-Desktop connected to ethernet.
Shop 4 miles away- Nothing....was wondering if i could somehow create a hotspot on my iphone to connect to the blackbox and stream g-code. I have google remote to control the desktop remotely.

    Thoughts?

no, 4 miles is too far, and as Peter said, never leave the machien unattended.

If you have Window PCs, you can use One Drive to transfer files from one computer to another.

I have a PC running windows 11 pro, and openbuilds control USB connected to my lead 1010 X32
I use one drive to replicate files to it,
I have a camera mounted above the CNC so I can watch it
I use RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol) to run the PC remote

I work out of my up stairs office, but never leave the house while the machine is running,
The camera and RDP window run on a second monitor so I have them up all the time,

** I mostly carve foam board with this setup

I also have aspire break my large gcode in to about 2 to 3 hour jobs, that way I can schedule them to be done before I go to bed
