Hi, I'm using OpenBuilds with Arduino GRBL to run a DIY plasma cutter. The first operation run perfectly: cutting, movement, everything was okay. But after turn off the plasma cutter (M05), the software goes crazy. It moves to random coordinates (only in the software, not the machine) and then stops.
I tested with the plasma off and it does the same thing. With simulation mode, the program runs perfectly.
    Any idea?
I'll attach a link to a YouTube video of my problem.

Thank you very much, and sorry for my bad English

Possibly a HF plasma? They aren't suitable for CNC - too much EMI. Get a Blowback/LF start plasma.

The arduino has no filtering or shielding either, replace it with a proper controller like a https://docs.openbuilds.com/blackbox-x32

    They are notorious CH340 and speed setting · Issue #294 · gnea/grbl

Drops characters when their internal buffer is near saturated.... Causes lots of flow errors, serial corruption.

gcode is ok, probably the USB chip.... possibly the USB cable, use a good, shorter one.

I have changed the cable and the Arduino board and now it works. I don't know exactly where the problem was, but it seems like it would be the board.
