How do I load a STL file for carving on OB 1515? I have Blackbox x32, OB Control, OB CAM. Also Fusion360, and Inkscape. I attached the file I want to carve. I tried to load it into CAM, but it won't load. Do I need to convert to another format, and if I do, what converter would I use?
OpenBuildsCAM is 2.5D only. For STLs you need a 3D CAM like Fusion or Vectric, etc: docs:software:overview [OpenBuilds Documentation]
import it into fusion360, convert from mesh to solid, apply paths in manufacturing, post gcode (using the openbuilds post! link in my signature below)
