I am using OpenBuilds High Torque Nema 23's and OpenBuilds BlackBox and wiring up some cables. Following the spec sheets it shows that the phases are swapped, the A phase on the Stepper is going to the B phase on the BlackBox. I understand it is OK to swap phases just want to verify this is correct (will I be stepping in reversed direction?). I will be using OpenBuilds Control Software.

As long as the wire paired together properly per coil it wont hurt anything to mix them around, just changes direction as you said.
You should verify the wires are properly paired, shouldn't be an issue with the OB motors.
You can swap them (polarity) around to achieve the direction you want or use the invert direction setting in GRBL.
    Cheers
