    Hello everyone,

I bought a the following CNC Router : Genmitsu PROVEerXL 4030.
    I assembled it.
I have tried to start operation with the Genmitsu PoverXL Offline Controller in which I have inserted the memory card on which is loaded the following file : "cnc.tap".

    But nothing happened.
I could read error 9 upon the screen of the Offline Controller.

Could you help please with this problem?
What procedure do you recommend to start the equipment?

Not familiar with that machine, but it uses grbl 1.1 firmware. Error 9 doesn't tell us what the problem is - there would have been more details about an earlier error - please tell us exactly what the error message said.
Did you home the machine after switching on?
    Alex.

Also consider approaching the vendor you purchased the machine from technical support for their product. Good luck

You should read all of this
Genmitsu PROVerXL 4030 Offline Controller User Guide
    before doing anything else.

some snippets from a speed read:
do not use this offline controller at the same time as a USB cable
it supports only Windows format gcode files, so if you generated from a Mac or Linux (LF line ending only) you have to convert to Windows CRLF line endings. I would use Notepad++ on Windows and unix2dos command line tool on Linux. No doubt the Apple store has an app for you if you have a Mac.

    What would I do?
I would unplug the offline controller, plug in a PC via USB (24" cable) and use the OpenBuildsCONTROL program to get the machine working and checked out. This gives you advanced diagnostics and easy to use wizards and setup tools, and enables you to give US the information we need to help you. As other pointed out, error 9 happens after some other error and we need to know what the entire chain of events was. CONTROL's serial log tells us that.
