After happily playing with OpenBuilds to create files for my laser engraver I "graduated" to a Lead CNC machine, with a water cooled spindle controlled by the classic HY VFD. Everything is set up and can control the machine and spindle speed and so forth from OpenBuilds Control.

However, I cannot find where to set the spindle speed on CAM.

It seems to be always preset at 60% of my Power/Speed scale. Currently I set it at 24000 (my spindle max RPMs), and the generated GCode has S14000 in every operation. Slower RPMs means slower feed also, so my tooling will take longer.

ps: In Fusion I know where to change it but I enjoy OB CAM so much I'd rather not use other software for simple pocketing and outline operations, like the one attached.

CAM assumes our standard spindle setup with an IoT relay (no speed control) docs:blackbox:connect-dewalt-iotrelay [OpenBuilds Documentation]

so the output of the gcode, depends on what you have in Settings:

As per the text under each heading, steps 1-3 suggest the values, but at step 4 you can customize as needed

Add the Spindle tool init option then scroll down
