    Just discovered this wonderful tool to drive my Ox style CNC router.

    I'm using Inkscape 1.2 (1:1.2+202206011327+fc4e4096c5) on a Linux box.

    Linux Mint (Linux Swift2 5.13.0-48-generic #54~20.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Thu Jun 2 23:37:17 UTC 2022 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux)

    All was well until I figured out I had a scaling problem. Inkscape SVG import was not being imported correctly to size.

    Brief look at this forum hasn't got me working. I'm pretty sure Inkscape is exporting SVG at 96dpi.

    I've got a feeling there are various new Bugs / Features in Inkscape 1.2 that might be to blame. Especially the "Scale" feature (mm per user unit???? Default 1.0). Partly why I've abandoned other older CAM tools.

    Any help gratefully received.

    Thanks for help. Uploading simple 100mm square. Appears in O/B CAM as just over ~92 mm. Also attaching the workspace file for this. The real job a little more complex :)

    Thanks, good test with known dimensions :)

    Pushed an update, do a forced refresh of your browser on cam.openbuilds.com with ctrl+f5 / shift+f5 and it should work

    One other note, your SVG is not quite 100mm. Its 99.77x with a stroke of 0.23ish (99.77+0.23=100) - keep in mind to keep stroke widths smaller or zero as Inkscape adds it to the dimensions to display correctly but it will affect your final dimensions as CAMs only look at the shape
    Also it's a RECT not a Path (;

    As such, post-update OpenBuildsCAM sees it as 99.77 now which is correct

    Many thanks. That's me working now. Also good advice on stroke width. I have wondered about that. The real job is formed using closed paths.
