I made the attached image. I have an Openbuilds Lead 1010 CNC and I have the Cosmos pen plotter attachment with a mini sharpie in it.
I can do a basic pen plot... no variation in z and therefore pressure. I'm not sure how to vary the pressure of the pen to make the lines lighter or darker... is there a software you recommend for that? I'm currently just using vectric aspire and using a dummy end mill as the 'tool' for the pen.
Also, I can do these lines as single colors, but in the image, some of the lines have two tone gradients. Is there anyway I can accomplish this? For example, if I just wanted to use red and black, I'd do a pass with the black marker at all its varying pressures, then switch it out with the red one and it's varying pressures to get close to a gradient.
Is there any software that can accomplish this (and get it to gcode?)
    thanks for any thoughts
    all the best
