I am working out a new desk design. I am wanting a desktop that can slide forward like the old keyboard tray but the whole desktop movement between 2 to 3 feet. I was thinking about designing the slides with maybe c-beam or some other heavy duty draw slides but I would like it to be ridged and be able to hold around 100lbs. I am in the early stages of design so looking to to all the smart people to help/ideas as I have never designed something that needed to deal with hanging weight.
