Trial run for a memorial plaque for my wife's grave.
JPG converted to low relief (STL) using blender.
Slate machined on my Workbee (upgraded with linear rails)
0.5 mm tapered ballnose for the low relief, 45 degree V bit for the lettering.
    Started at 14 K rpm, 600 mm/min. Increased to 1200 mm/min during the job.
Lettering added at 2400 mm/min, 0.25 mm doc, 1 mm flat depth.
Waterbath used for cooling and to control dust. IMG_5449.JPG
