I haven’t run my CNC in a while ( had switched over to the RoutER11). I had tested it a couple of times previously on small test runs and never noticed anything untoward. Today I was setting up my Interface and testing it out. Turned the spindle on and it seemed to stutter very slightly and then get to speed. Adjusted the dial to try different speeds and all seemed ok but when I stopped and went to adjust the clamp height on the RoutER11, the collet and bit area seemed very hot - like too hot too touch. I was not even cutting anything. This seems unusual. anyone have any thoughts?
