Hello, everyone. I have a Robo R1 printer. I've had it for a while and always wanted to upgrade it to a standalone unit. I know that it would be probably cheaper to buy new one, but I just did buy one. It's not enough. My wife won't forgive me If I buy another. So I figured, I can upgrade my R1 now. It has some issues on z axis and is not usable at the moment. I am planning to upgrade it to lead screws, replace extruder and add touch probe later on. But for now I can replace main board, add LCD and if needed change steppers.
I am new to arduino and such but I do have some engineering background. I need advice on what set up to use. To many choices on Amazon and Ebay
