    Hello

I have a 1500x1000 workbee that is just awsome. Do love the machine.

some of the parts I want to make would greatly benefit from a 4th axis machine

was wondering if folks could recommend any starting points. I do want to make this a heavy machine. Did find a kit with linear rails and 16mm screws.

I’ll of course keep looking through the builds and this page.

    thanks!

Here is the only successful build that I am aware of with more than 3 axis. You could add a rotary axis by unplugging your y motors and plugging them into a rotary axis. Then you would need different software like vectric v carve.

I may do this when I upgrade my current CNC this winter (hopefully). The additional height of the LEAD CNC machine would make it real easy, and the thought has crossed my mind to make mine into a LEAD by ditching my current gantry plates. Too many choices...
