Hey everyone, this is my first post. I apologize for the long post and for my current ignorance on the subject. I’m hoping to get some advice/info. Thank you in advance!

I’m completely new to the CNC world and decided to buy an older table and rebuild rather than starting from scratch for my first project.

The table I purchased came with the following:
    Nema 34 motors for x and y
Dayton model: 2L008 DC gear motor for z (plus 2 spares)
    2 - Anaheim Mbc 12101 stepper drivers
2 -ITE POWER SUPPLY Model pwi 32
Hypertherm sensor PHC (doesn’t seem to power up)
    PMDX-122 rev d breakout board

How should I go about testing/diagnosing?

Will I be able to use the Black box motion control? (Current breakout board only has db25 port which my computers do not have)

    Thanks for reading!

You can use the BlackBox, but may need to replace motors. DC motor not supported, NEMA34s may work or not, depending on electrical specs: coil voltage, current, inductance and coil resistance.
