Hi, I am looking for some advice for my project which uses rack and pinion. The pinion is pushed into the rack to avoid any chance of riding out of mesh, howvever slight. Can anyone advise how much pressure would be a good starting point. We have no hardware stores nearby, so it's going to be an ebay purchase for the compression spring. Thanks Howard
