There's no problem! We are here to help. This part isn't printable, you can buy it from Robotdigg, but it's kind of a PITA to order, Robert and I already have some ordered and will sell it as soon as we get it

You may prefer to invert your frame braces... the limit switches are designed to be places on the left. So, having your controller on the left will need less wiring.

Do those metal lead screw nuts come with the screws needed to attach it to the printed part?

Cool, and they fit a M5 threaded rod? Just asking bc I'm kind of combining this OBi3 build with the Prusa i3 Rework.

It's for TR8 threaded rods from the OB store ;)
BTW nut kits are in $25 shipped
Contains two nuts and 6 hardware screws
The ABS prints like a charm just can't get it to stick to the plate.
I'm going to try bare glass and hairspray next ;)

Only thing that sucks is USPS is taking forever for my screws to come in they were supposed to be here on the first and no update on tracking form the suppler :(

I modified the OBi3 X idler and motor mount to take a 5mm nut. Those are what I ordered originally so that what I'll do this build with. Next time I'll beef them up to TR8's though.

Thanks for all the info. This is a great site!

    They are plastic grub screws
A fast way to get some, rip an on inkjet apart or you will have to find a supply and order.
I have some but it may take a few days to get to ya

I suppose you still can use 3/8" rods?

I use 8mm and 10mm threaded rod now to fit the capped ends.
    Found a local supply :)
I'm sure someone can change the hole size tonight after work to give the folks that don't have access to the metric goods a chance to still build it ;)

@Robert Hummel Also the slots in the back of your frame are 10mm but the rod used in the y corners are 8mm
