Probing/Zeroing Question

    Since I haven't found anything in the menus to reduce the axis travel to 1mm or below, I'm guessing that using the paper method is not an option with the interface. If I'm starting with a VBit, I guess I have to load an endmill first to establish X0,Y0, then the VBit for Z0 (using the XYZ touch plate. Is that everyone's workflow, or am I missing something obvious?

    Use the Jog Speed buttons to dial down the speed, which in turn adjusts how far it moves in the same timeframe :)

    At 1% you can make really really tiny moves :)

    I use a lathe turned brass rod to probe X and Y, then change to the bit to probe Z. I use a lot of straight flute bits and you can't probe X AND Y accurately with those.
