    Hello
I made myself a 90x90mm xyz probe but I can't get it to work with openbuilds control I put the 6mm bur closer to the edge and when I click on Probe the bur it moves back and forth. therefore center in x and y nothing in Z. and I have an error message ":ALARM 4: Probe fail. The probe is not the expected inaitial state before starting probe cycle, mhere G38.2 and G38.3 is no triggered and G38.4 and G38.5 is triggered"
I go through a translator because I don't speak a word of English.
    Can you help me
    Thank you

Means your wiring is an issue, Grbl by default expects the probe to be normally open, then "close" the contacts when it touches. Yours seems to be shorted already before it even probes. Or you have changed $6 to a 1 (default is 0)

Watch our video, we probe from above the top front left corner

    Thank you
I did have a wiring problem that I saw greasy in the Troubleshootin function.
The probing cycle is done well but when I do a little work and I return to the starting point with "gotozero" the cutter is placed at an angle but too low.
    cordially

Did you set your Offsets in the config? Select CUSTOM PROBE under probe type, then click the Gear button

I have to put qoi as offset in X Y and Z
The plate is 90x90mm thick 3mm
and the height of the 2 outer edges is 10mm

Don't put the height, put the width as X and Y offset (offset of the edge of stock, to edge of probe)

Or avoid the need to set up a custom probe, and order a XYZ Touch Probe Plus - predefined offsets and extra features
