    Hey guys!

I started 3D-Printing around 10 years ago, have owned several cheaper printers and upgraded/modified them as much as possible. I have always been fascinated by the thought of building my own printer but after I have been inactive for several years the number of projects has exploded and I am having issues finding the right one for me. I would like to reuse parts like steppers, 32bit board, probe, etc. as much as possible and I dont mind printing parts for my new printer (can print larger ABS parts). I have no issues sourcing parts myself so it does not need to be a kit.

It would be great if the following was possible below 500$ (excluding parts I already have):

    • 300 x 300 x 300+
    • no complicated machining (advanced home tools only)
    • ease of service
    • Enclosed/enclose-able
    • under 500 $ (or as close to that as possible)
    • maybe upgradeable for dual extrusion
    • comprehensive documentation and parts list
    • maybe even a healthy community to ask for help
    • focus on detail/quality over speed

Thanks but the overwhelming amount of projects there is the reason I ended up here ^^
