PLEASE HELP, can not connect to x32

    Somebody please help me, I’ve spent £3000 building a laser table and can’t even get it to connect to a computer,

    I’m using a Mac. It’s an acro 1580 build.

    have tried unplugging everything except usb

    Have tried installing drivers etc

    every time I try to connect to the usb it just says it fails and that is no firmware, I’ve wasted weeks scrolling forums trying everything, somebody please please help me

    Any known miswirings, incorrect PSUs, incorrect type of Plasma etc? (If known best to declare - otherwise we chase the other causes - but the controller has been damaged)

    Other than that, trying a different PC is worth a shot.

    No known misswiring, I was able to control the unit through the touch interface, toggle the lazer on and off etc,

    however I have been unable to connect to a printer to properly set up the machine, I have tried absolutely everything in that usb faq you mentioned, I have tried it on 2 macs now, my older one and I went out and got a newer one just for this but still no luck, trying to aquire a third computer but on a windows operating system to triple check

    failing that I have no idea what to do

    thank you for the message if there is anything else you can suggest would be greatly appreciated

    Did you follow the specific steps for the Mac in the driver's Release notes (In the same zip you downloaded where the DMG is)?

    Try a Windows PC to see if its a Mac issue or a hardware issue.

    I have unblocked the relative extensions on every driver variation that I have tried, I didn’t want to consider the unit was faulty as it is brand new but I’m not too sure what it could be

    Every unit is extensively tested (including USB comms as part of firmware flashing and the test procedure) in the factory. So if its a faulty device now - the next question would be what damaged it (Section 6.3.1 of docs:blackbox-x32:faq-usb-connection-failed [OpenBuilds Documentation] coming into play)

    The log output isn't going to magically change. Stop posting it and go to work checking your wiring against docs.openbuilds.com/blackbox-x32

    Brownouts = microcontroller not receiving sufficient power. So likely either a short on V+ to GND as mentioned above (and cautions about in the documentation on relevant pages with a big IMPORTANT NOTE section) or are you using something 3rd party (not our PSU?) that fried the onboard regulator? Or is the laser module at blame? Read section 6.3.1 of the USB Troubleshooting guide docs:blackbox-x32:faq-usb-connection-failed [OpenBuilds Documentation]
    as advised earlier in this thread
