We'll wheels ordered "just in time I'm sure lol" and plate is on the mill now :)
After I'm done cutting the other plate needed to update my OX I will start milling 4 plate sets.
I should have enough aluminum for 2 sets and maybe some Z plate sets

    Hi Planga.

You know, if you've got the space, it's not that hard to do it yourself. There are loads of videos on YouTube showing you how to Anodize. The pieces aren't that big, so there is no need for large containers, and besides, it could the start of another hobby. Especially if you plan to do any aluminium milling.

Hi Robert , I've been reading the various posts and really interested in building an Ox cnc router. My use will be to build guitars . Was having problems finding the build plans and instructions as I'm new here. But I also wanted a quote for the kit
Delivered to Western Australia 6061 And if you could advise on other products you'd recommend using with the build. Your guidance in the forums is much appreciated. And always enjoy the pics and any info you share.
    Thanks for all your help

I have completed the X Axis and installed the pulley/belt assembly.
I used some good old lock tight on the shaft and set screws.
I will let things set and test movement tomorrow after work :D

With the raised bed I can mill about 2" think materials.
If you want more room turning the supports flat you will gain room

    Hi Robert,

What is the size of your stepper motors.
I'm planning to get all 4 motors same size NEMA23, 2.8A, 269oz.in with body length 76mm and weight 1.2Kg.
What's your opinion about the size?

    Best Regards,
    Joe

    Hi Robert
I like this kit you make, and I have been looking in to build a small CNC, and this open build is lookingfantastic easy and good.
So I wonder how much you charge for a kit, and shipping to Norway? Have you many in order now, I'am not i a hurry.
Send me an E-mail: [email protected]

And one more thing, this RC spindle, where did you get it from?

    Best Regards
    Morten

Robert makes the spindle kit himself and might be able to add it on to the kit you want to order.

I HIGHLY rate his work and can recommend a full kit as a FANTASTIC start to get into the hobby of CNC routers. The craftsmanship is top notch, finish is stunning and packaging for transit is very secure.

    Hello Robert
I am new to this forum and CNC world in general but I am very interested in your build and would love to build one for myself. Do you make any of the plates for sale to others? I would be interested in the details by either an pm or email sent to [email protected]
    Thanks, Really great build.
