    HeyAll,
Just found this amazing place. Can the control software be used to program various stepper motors for repetitive pick and place and or simple precise x-y maneuvers without a CNC drawing loaded? Wanting to automate a process in my facility. My thanks for any consideration to my question.

Sure, you can hand-code basic GCODE to load from file: Grbl supports a subset of the LinuxCNC standard, so LinuxCNC "G-Code" Quick Reference comes in handy

    G0 for rapid positioning moves
    G1/2/3 for controlled moves
M3/M5 to turn the spindle output on/off (maybe to use with solenoids)
M8/M9 to turn the coolant output on/off (maybe to use with solenoids)
