I have been using the xtension limit switch, but I suspect I have not had it wired properly. I only have 2 wires going in - one to ground and the other to the control board. While it triggers as I expect it to, I have run into issues with the z axis not performing as I expected. The G38.2 command doesn't seem to move all the way to the metal to actually trip the limit switch. based on what I see in the docs it looks like it should be wired as follows:

    • Ground
    • Signal to the board
    • V+ which seems to be a 5v signal
In order to get the manual trigger to operate I had to invert the $6 setting. I dont have the 5v wire run to the limit switch currently. Would that cause my erratic behaviors?

    Thanks in advance

have you updated the Balckbox X32 firmware? older shipped boxes have a known issue with probing so it has to be updated

I am not using black box. I have an ESP32 controller running GRBLHAL
